Popular question: “How much money can I make with my Outdoor Digital Billboard in South Africa?
We get asked this question all the time and the answer is pretty straight forward. A calculated prediction of what one can charged is possible if compiled using existing charges for outdoor screen surfaces in South Africa. The average sized surface ranges from, 24sqm – 80 sqm with a traffic count of over 60 000 passing vehicles in view, per day. The digital space is generally split into increments of 10 and 20 exchangeable advertising slots or booking spaces. These slots are usually 10, 20 or 30 seconds long, depending. The cost to advertisers, interpreted as per square meter charge, ranges from R50 – R150 per slot per month<. A buyer would have to order the number of slots that will accommodate his or her advertisements running time, if greater than the offered time slot/s. Our prediction is based on information that is freely available from South African Digital billboard advertising suppliers. With a quick search, one can find many references for this. You can sell your own advertising space or you can have a reseller sell the space on your behalf. Where there is a will there’s a strategy! Good luck 🙂
